Two days ago I deleted Debian stable from my internal ssd and replaced it by Kubuntu 22.04. The main reason is the fact that Kubuntu 22.04 uses an older version of the breeze plasma theme that I like very much. Besides, I want a system that just works and is easy to use. I can solve all the problems and complications of Debian, editing sources.list before installing Nvidia drivers etc., but I don't want to.
Well I wonder how long that system will stay. Evntually I will switch to Plasma 6.

Being #hsp is basically like being a dog, i.e. a creature that can smell or hear very well. When you sense something terrible you must try to do something about it, because the sound or the smell makes you crazy.

trying to live in KDE Neon Unstable (Plasma 6)

I have been distro and desktop/window manager hopping for basically all my life. During the past years, I almost always had Debian installed on my internal ssd next to windows, but mostly I used something else running on an external drive.
During the past 6 months or so, since the release of Debian bookworm, I had Debian with KDE Plasma on the internal ssd and I mostly actually used it, because I was kind of lazy to install/try something new. And I think I finally found my desktop environment. i think i am in love with KDE Plasma. And not only Plasma, but also Digikam and other KDE apps...
They make software that looks good and is even better to use, has great features and is not too nerdy. So I love KDE even though in general I like nerdy software. It's simply well made and I hope that one day much more normal users (one part of today's windows and mac users) will use KDE Plasma.

I've been brewing on this thought for a while, but I think it comes down to, AI has no place in the arts. Machine-generated art has the appearance of what it is emulating, but no substance. Like cake made entirely of fondant. Or cardboard.

Today I witnessed an odd and at the same time kind of funny, but also maybe sad scene.
I was on the way home from the ottakringer bad, I took tram 52 at ameisgasse, I entered the tram towards the end of the train because it was snowing heavily an I had been waiting for the tram unter the roof of the stop, and when the tram stopped the roof was at the end of the tram. Anyway I needed to get out of the tram at the front of the tram and so I began to walk towards the front of the train inside the train. As I came closer to the the first door, I heard a male voice shouting around "don't come closer, you stink, you are a whore, go wash yourself", and I realized that a young man was standing next to the first door. Apparently he was also kicking into the air. So I stopped, I thought I better be careful. It was clear that the man was crazy. The man kept shouting around, and I had no other choice than to listen. After about five minutes I realized that the man was shouting at an imaginary woman who in his mind was standing right next to him. He talked about beating and killing her and that kind of stuff, well and kept repeating that she was a stinking whore, he also said that she smelled like sh**. When the tram got closer to the stop where I had to get out I went closer to the first door and left the train throught the first door. I was a bit afraid, but when I left I understood that there was no danger at all. I stood very closer to him for one or two minutes.

last python class today and I was finally able to do the homework:

def schneeflocken (anzahl):
schnee="*"*anzahl
return schnee

anzahl=int(input("wieviele schneeflocken willst du sehen?"))

while anzahl>0:
ergebnis=schneeflocken(anzahl)
print(ergebnis)
anzahl=int(input("wieviele schneeflocken willst du sehen?"))

print("wann wird es wieder richtig sommer?")

Servus Dsignweek brought at least 15 visitors to my website since yesterday, most of them being linux users, several apple and one android
Well, maybe this is also interesting. Only one of those visitors uses a computer with a German UI, the others are from norway, us, france etc.,

The nokia phone is locked inside the reception box in the staircase since yesterday morning. The key is broken.

In 1990, communism crashed. The cold war period is not quite over yet, but it's coming to an end. Capitalism and democracy lived a bit longer, but they are crashing. I don't know what can be the future, I don't know if there will be a future.
Hungary seems to play an interesting role in this story. In 1956, the Hungarians started the destruction of the communist system. Can they contribute something to the future, or the end of capitalism?
